Wedding Update

The plans have not been difficult AT ALL!!! Everything is booked, no hassles, great communication, its all happy days. The resort has a wedding planner, i let them know what i want a quote on, in less than 24 hours i get a quote, i tell them if i want it, and thats it... TOO EASY!!!

Im super excited... i love the thought that i have NO idea of what my flowers are going to look like, they just pick what is in season (of course you can have a say in it but i like not knowing) I wont know what my hair is going to be like until the day. I wasnt even going to get my hair done BUT anyone who knows me knows that my hair is out-of-control-fu-fu especially in the hot weather and there's no way in hell that i could wear my hair down! we werent going to even have a receiption but with a twist of the arm we decided ok!

Let me know if i paint the picture well for you for the receiption.

All of this will be JUST set up for the wedding party!! Mmmmk!!!

The receiption starts at 6 (i think...lol)

On the BEACH (im talkin feet in the sand), you can kick your shoes off, have the waves right next to ya, tables, chairs, fairy & themed lights everywhere, stage, music, BAR!!!!! (let me remind you.. JUST FOR THE WEDDING P.A.R.T.Y) Buffet (Roast Style), warm weather.

Thats right... It's going to be unreal. If anyone still wants to come there is still time!!! I wish i could find a way to be able to bring some people that i really want to be there, but we will have a get together when we get back.

If I remember next time ill put some pictures up to give you a better idea.

Over these last few months ive been collecting stuff for scrapbooking for the wedding and our honeymoon. Its gonna cost as a small fortune to spend 3 1/2 weeks over there so ill have plenty to do when i get back. lol...

I still cant believe im getting MARRIED!!!

Interesting...

A few months ago i went to the dentist to have a check-up which we all know means: how much money can we get out of me for this year! Nah seriously i have a fab dentist but he asked me what i thought was a bizzar question... Do you chew mostly on the left hand side?... what sort of a question is that?... Who pays attention to which side you chew on most?... I thought i would be good at sharing with my teeth and be about 50 50 BUT... much to my disgust... my left teeth are pigs!... I've sadly monitored it over the past few months and its true... I am very left handed, i write, knit, do crafts, play sport, basically everything i do with my left hand... Even if i have to kick a football i would use my left foot. Useless but i thought it was interesting... lol....

Another Year Over... & What A Year To Come

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas & a great new years celebration!

We didn't have as many people at Mum & Dad's this year but somehow we still managed to fill the room with lots of presants and have enough food to feed a small army. Even though it was a fairly quiet Christmas and New Year celebration ive felt really tired and worn out. Now its time to get back on track with 'normal' life. I scored with my pressies. Keith got my a fab painting (ill blog that another day) and tickets to Burn the Floor ( I wrote a blog about them from last year when i went then) Along with heaps of other awsome presants from the family.

My goal (not resolution) for this year is to save, save, save and what im sure many of us want for this year... to drop 10 kgs. Thats it... im not askin for much. The 10kilo thing needs to happen in the next 6 months and 9 days from today ( they say to be specific with your goals!!!yeah?) But hey... ive got good insperation... im getting married.

I had my last splurt of bad foods today. I went to Coles today, brought heaps of healthy food (you can buy a chocolate bar for $1 but you cant buy a healthy bar for that price) Ive got the boxing down pat so now its just that sugar craving i gotta kick (doesnt help that ive got a lollie shop right next to work). If i can get the food under control ill be kickin goals.

FIJI

The Shangri-La is on the main Island Viti Levu on the bottom left hand side. It's number 7 on this map. We then go to Mana Island which is just above #13 and just under #14. We then come back to the main island to the Outrigger which is number 10.

A Very Special Month

Keith and I are engaged, the night before my birthday he asked me to marry him... Happy days!!!

We had spoken about getting married before we got engaged (so he was pretty sure on what the answer was gonna be) and we'd discussed getting married oversea's and.... its gonna happen. We've paid our deposit and it's official.

We are getting married in Fiji next year.

We're staying at and getting married on a white sandy beach at the Shangri-La Resort in Fiji. The Shangri -La is on the Coral Coast of Fiji. Its all very exciting. We Get married on the 6th day of our stay which is a Thursday, then the next day we leave from there for our honeymoon.

We then stay on Mana Island for 7 nights and we then come back to the main Island, still on the Coral Coast at the Outrigger On The Lagoon Resort. Yes thats 3 weeks away in Fiji... Gotta love it!!!

BOOTCAMP!!!

Ok, so after thinking and thinking and thinking about it...

IVE DONE IT!!!!

ive joined BOOTCAMP!

There's no stuffin around with the bootcamp, i signed up on the Wednesday evening and the next Monday (yesterday) was my first class.

There are 11 people in the class and we are all at COMPLETELY different levels of fitness and yes im at the lower level which in short means 'i suck!'.

One of the guys is a patient at my work and he's SO fit! He came into work today to see how i pulled up after Monday. Hmmm, good question, how am I? Well i struggled to get out of bed... every part of my body hurts when i move, and my lovely legs keep going from under me so yeah... im fine... REAL FINE!!!! Nah seriously im fine but seriously im hurting. -Mondays class wasnt too bad because she was testing our levels of fitness. So im not looking foward to tomorrow when its suposed to be FULL ON!

Now im looking into doing funruns for charitys for next year except i cant seem to find any details or calander of events that will be on. Gotta do my homework on that one.

Tonight: Take Keith to the gym, cook dinner then.... hot bath :)

Decisions.

Im trying to decide what to do...

Ive been on a weight loss program for 3 months next week. In the 3 months ive lost just over 3kgs, which really isnt 1/2 of what i wanted to loose. I've had HUGE lifestyle changes, i have completely changed my eating habits and exercise around 6 times a week... Even thought the actual weight loss hasnt gone to plan i have changed a little in shape which im happy about and im feeling heaps healthier & im very happy with the gym.

My problem is that next week will be 3 months and thats when the membership expires. Now i have already renewed for 12 months but i can at any stage change my membership to a normal membership instead of the weight loss program which will save me $40 a fortnight. It's not about the money (you can tell i dont have kids...lol)... its that i HATE the weigh-ins because i never seem to loose anything which gets me really down.

So what do i do?

Do I stay on the weightloss program for a while longer? or

Do I change to a normal membership? or

Do I do a bootcamp?

Im thinking to possibly change to a normal membership and to do a bootcamp... but im worried that it'll kill me lol. You have 3 sessions a week Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 6am-7am for 4 weeks, or have i not given the weight loss program enough of a go?

Funny Read

Here is an email that i received and i thought it was pretty funny. See what you think.

Re: Request for a raise

I, the Penis, hereby request a raise in salary for the following reasons:

I do physical labor.
I work at great depths.
I plunge headfirst into everything I do.
I do not get weekends or public holidays off.
I work in a damp environment.
I work in a dark workplace that has poor ventilation.
I work in high tempratures.
My work exposes me to contagious diseases.

Sincerely,
P.Niss

The Response:

Dear Penis:

After assessing your request, & considering the arguments you have raised, the administration rejects your request for the following reasons:

You do not work 8 hours straight.
You fall asleep after brief periods.
You do not always follow the orders of the management team.
You do not stay in your designated area & are often seen visiting other locations.
You do not take your initiative- you need to be pressured & stimulated in order to start working.
You leave the workplace rather messy at the end of your shift.
You dont always observe necessary safety regulations, such as wearing the correct protective clothing.
You will retire well before you are 65.
You are unable to work double-shifts.
You sometimes leave your designated work area before you have completed the assigned task.
And if that were not all, you have been seen constantly entering & exiting the workplace carrying two suspicious-looking bags.

Sincerely,
V.Gina
